Bay Adelaide Centre
This flagship LEED Gold office building was the first major tower to open its doors in downtown Toronto in over 15 years. Forge rose to the challenge with a comprehensive signage and wayfinding solution that reflects the stature of this high-end destination.
Working closely with project architects, Forge delivered a complete wayfinding masterplan that incorporated a connection to the PATH underground pedestrian corridor system and one of Toronto’s largest parking garages. To match the high-end architectural finishes, Forge developed custom materials and specialized processes, including a new method for embedding steel Braille into glass for sleek yet accessible signs.
The resulting wayfinding system appears as an integrated extension of the striking architecture, conveying sophistication and elegance while efficiently helping users to find their way.
