Campus Developments, a real estate developer, embarked on an ambitious journey to disrupt the purpose-built student housing space in cities and communities across Canada by acquiring and developing parcels of land close to post-secondary institutions. The team focuses on creating experience-driven post-secondary student residence opportunities by merging contemporary design with functional, sustainable spaces and state-of-the-art amenities for the best-integrated living and community experience.
Evoking a sense of belonging.
Forge worked with Campus Developments to create a name and brand identity for the housing development’s first location in Ottawa, Ontario. The selected name, The Revalie, signals an upward step in an individual’s academic journey and evokes an uplifting feeling as they rise to their potential. In creating the brand identity and colour palette, Forge took inspiration from the gradient of colours found in a vibrant sunrise and a fiery sunset.

The Revalie, Ottawa is the first of many engaging student housing projects for Campus Developments. Forge crafted an accessible, versatile and future-forward brand that can effortlessly be applied to additional student residence developments across Canada.
To provide brand continuity across future developments, marketing materials, signage and digital instances Forge created a comprehensive brand usage and application guidebook outlining how to apply the brand. Establishing this framework ensures all aspects of The Revalie brand collateral reinforces Campus Development’s position as a leader in the purpose-built student accommodation industry space.
